On March 2-3, the main culinary event of 2024, the Gastronomic Congress of Georgia and the Basque Country - "Culinary Connection Euskadi-Georgia" was held in Kakheti.

Within the framework of the congress, panel discussions, presentations and a culinary show were organized, led by famous Basque and Georgian chefs. The event hosted more than 250 people.
The congress was attended by representatives of hospitality from all regions of Georgia, and the speakers were Michelin-starred master chefs and sommeliers.
The Basque Culinary Center is one of the most authoritative academic institutions in the world. The center has an important role in the development of Basque and Spanish gastronomy, their cuisine and bodegas (wineries) are outstanding architectural, enogastronomic and tourist attractions in the world.
